We welcome all who worship with us.

  • Nominating Team Attention! It is that time of the year where we are beginning the process of selecting officers for the church. What the Nominating Team needs you to do is: first pray. We need to seek God's direction and blessing first and ask that you would bathe this process in prayer. Second, submit the names of members that you think God is calling to leadership in FHPC. If you would write the names of those that you would like the Nominating Committee to consider on the BACK of the yellow welcome cards or on the Nomination Form in the back of the church, we will take those individuals under advisement.

  • Donations Needed Donations for costume jewelry are need for the May Market. Please contact Cindy Sherer for more details.

  • 2014 Per Capita The Per Capita for the year 2014 will be $27.15. Please contribute your 2014 per capita this year to help reduce the deficit. The office is still accepting the $26.00 per capita for 2013. Thank you for your support.

  • Sanctuary Flowers We have a new way to provide honorary flowers. First, select a date in the order notebook at the rear of the sanctuary then fill in an order envelope found in the notebook and return it with payment to either the offering plate or to the church office. Flowers may be placed in the Sanctuary to remember a loved one, celebrate a special occasion or Give Glory to God!

  • Life Groups Join Life-Groups for a brand new study of the Holy Spirit, which meets Wednesdays at 7:00 in FHPC Parlor during Lent. We are studying the book Fresh Air by Jack Levison that will correspond to Pastor Ben's teaching on the Holy Spirit through all of Lent. Mark your calendars and come on out!

  • Children and Worship Children and Worship was created to make a special place where children can come to be still and listen to God. Our time together begins with a greeting and song. The Bible story is then presented to the children with a time for the children to “wonder” about the story. Children will then have a time to respond to the story by drawing or working with the story on their own mat. We close with the same Bible story being read from the Bible and a closing prayer where the children are welcome to provide prayer requests. Your child is welcome to join us if they are 3 years of age through 2nd grade. The children will be dismissed after the Children’s Message and will exit the front of the sanctuary where they will be led by the worship leader, Heather Whitmore, to the Cascade room.

  • FHPC ~ Food Pantry Thank you all for your continual support for the Homeless Shelters and Food Banks. The Mission Team is asking that you now place your cans and non-perishable items in the wooden cabinet (food pantry) across the hall from the Parlor. This will help keep the Narthex free from clutter. The Mission Team will collect the cans and non-perishable food items and distribute them to the local food banks and homeless shelters. We are always looking for people who would like to help in this ministry.

  • Youth Feeding the Homeless. Come join us as we reach out to feed those who are in need of food and shelter and feed the homeless! We will meet at the church at 5 o’clock on March 8th. Join us at the church as we drive into the city to provide meals, fellowship, and prayer for those who have no place to lay their heads. Everyone is welcome! If you are interested please see Cindy or Phil Sherer!
