... and on this rock I will build my church... Matthew 16:18

We welcome all who worship with us.

We are a Bible-teaching, praying community.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the center of our life
providing guidance, comfort and hope.

If you are seeking a church home in the Forest Hills area, we invite you to participate in our ministry.

We will need lots of volunteers to make this year’s food booth a huge success and we can’t do it without you. Please stop by for a bowl of ice cream and find out the many ways you can volunteer your time! It won’t be the same without YOU!!!

  • Life Groups What is the big deal about Jesus? On the surface this seems like a simple question and for most of us is probably a question, so basic, that we may hardly even think about anymore. Alright, here is another one for you: If you know what the big deal about Jesus is, then how does it affect how you live your life? What impact does the life of this man from Galilee have with how you do your job, shop for groceries, and check your email? Join us as we begin a new round of Life-Groups studying the life of Jesus from the gospel of John! Two groups will be meeting. Wednesday evenings will begin meeting April 24th at 7:00 at Cindy and Phil Sherer’s house (directions in the back) and the Sunday afternoon group will begin April 28th following lunch after worship. Join us and bring a friend as we bridge the 2,000 year gap as to how this man Jesus shapes our lives today.

  • FHPC ~ Food Pantry Thank you all for your continual support for the Homeless Shelters and Food Banks. The Mission Team is asking that you now place your cans and non-perishable items in the wooden cabinet (food pantry) across the hall from the Parlor. This will help keep the Narthex free from clutter. The Mission Team will collect the cans and non-perishable food items and distribute them to the local food banks and homeless shelters. We are always looking for people who would like to help in this ministry.

  • Youth Feeding the Homeless. Come join us as we reach out to feed those who are in need of food and shelter and feed the homeless! We will meet at the church at 5 o’clock on July 13th. Join us at the church as we drive into the city to provide meals, fellowship, and prayer for those who have no place to lay their heads. Everyone is welcome! If you are interested please see Cindy or Phil Sherer!

  • Children and Worship Children and Worship was created to make a special place where children can come to be still and listen to God. Our time together begins with a greeting and song. The Bible story is then presented to the children with a time for the children to “wonder” about the story. Children will then have a time to respond to the story by drawing or working with the story on their own mat. We close with the same Bible story being read from the Bible and a closing prayer where the children are welcome to provide prayer requests. Your child is welcome to join us if they are 3 years of age through 2nd grade. The children will be dismissed after the Children’s Message and will exit the front of the sanctuary where they will be led by the worship leader to the Cascade room.

  • Meals Ministry The deacons provide meals to assist families or individuals through difficult times. We are in need of volunteers to prepare and deliver meals to members who have recently been discharged from the hospital, had a baby or suffered a loss, etc. For more information or to sign up contact Kristie Stumme.
