Study of Revelation Wednesday Evenings, Beginning May 9th
We will study the book of Revelation, seeking to learn more about God’s message spoken to each of us through this last book of the Bible. I have come to appreciate that knowing Genesis and Revelation are important in my own faith walk with Christ.
Don’t be afraid! Although this book contains violence, it also contains unrivaled peace & beauty—we get to see the victory of Christ fulfilled on Earth. This study is for novices. We won’t spend too much time trying to figure out what all of the symbolism means; we will focus on the content of John’s revelations and discerning God’s wisdom for us.
The group will meet Wednesday’s in the church Parlor from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The discussion is based upon a teaching series by Gary DeLashmutt that consists of ten CDs. We will not use the CDs during the small group time; however, your learning will likely be enhanced if you do listen to the CDs in advance of each week’s discussion. The cost for a CD set is $20.
Join us Wednesday, May 9th, at 7:00 pm in the Parlor to learn more or contact Beth Ross with any questions.
